Friday, November 1, 2013 - Deep crimson. Intriguing, ever changing, minerally bouquet of blackberries, cherries, red currants, wet earth, herbs, flowers, and touches of chocolate and pencil shavings. The black raspberry palate is long and expansive, structured and refined, a touch dry, and crescendos into a crushed rock and espresso finish. This holds back initially but the aromas and flavors continually evolve with no apex in sight. The only thing that stopped its evolution was the end of the bottle. This oozes confidence and sophistication.
