Friday, September 12, 2014 - Nose of plums, currants, roses, baking spices and incense sticks. Tart, tangy, nice grit to the tannins, crunchy red and black currant, some blackberry, laced with smoke, incense, soil, and dried leaves. Time coaxes out nuances of backing spices, leather and some meat. Tangy and tart throughout, opens up nicely and day 2 was more smooth and expressive. 60% Cab, 30% Merlot, 10% Tannat.
