Tuesday, September 10, 2019 - This is really lovely now. A tight restrained nose with notes of blackberries/black cherries -- there is a brooding element of dark wood. All of these flavors carry over to the palate, which has some nice bright acidity that lifts the fruit up and makes it a bit brighter. A lot of power and restraint here -- and a long lovely finish. I think I am discovering that 2011 is one of my favorite WA syrah vintages!
