Saturday, February 17, 2018 - Took to dinner at Shakewell with the Elis. Really nails the Mourvedre sauvage ideal. Dark, brambly, leathery, tiny bit bitter. We ordered the fried chicken, but it also paired well with the whole fish and the octopus. Worked well with romesco sauces, hotter things, olive flavors. This is kind of pricy stuff but very satisfying.
