Wednesday, January 7, 2015 - Bila-Haut: Bright watermelon colored. Nose of wild strawberries, salted margarita, white cherries, roses, very pretty. Fresh and juicy on the palate, a bright and food-friendly aesthetic. I really like the mineral and dried green herb elements to this wine. Chalky, some sugar cane and papaya on the finish. I don’t remember seeing this wine on any by the glass lists, but it should be. Crowd-pleasing blend of CInsault and Grenache.
