Sunday, December 18, 2016 - Fine White Wine Tasting (Oinoscent): This needed the most time to open up in the glass. Med intensity, peach, grapefruit, lime and floral notes too. Quite high intensity in the palate, tight too. Tropical fruit, lime, lemon, great use of oak, subtly, med+ body and great structure, with long finish. A wine for the long road. Outstanding quality. It felt like a tiny sphere of flavor, acidity and power that never went away, just rested on the center of the tongue releasing layers of power as time went by. Tried again after 2 days and it have opened up in a magnificent way, while Ornellaia and Mouton had dissolved with only Smith Haut Lafitte trying to keep up.
