Tightly wound and backward at first, and a bit too cool when served, however over the course of a couple of hours, the temperature rose, while the air helped enormously. What seemed a bit tannic, angular and astringent, opened up to a generous, pretty tropical fruit palette. The nose developed rich, floral notes of gardenias and honeysuckle. This is going to be a great wine, that can be drunk now, but should reward patience, as well.

Dégusté avec Dominique vin d'une grande expression, tout en subtilité. Nez envoutant, sur la pêche blanche, vanille, citronelle. En bouche, ressortent fleur de coton, l'ananas, brioche, buxus, cyprine ;-) Sublime

Nose screams Bordeaux Blanc typicity with grapefruit, honeycomb, new cedar woods
Palate is layered. Medium body, almost bone dry, medium plus acidity. Lots of citrus fruits, Asian pear, tangerine, pineapple, quite high toned at first but blown away with air. Finish on the honey coated slightly bitter grapefruit notes.
Subdued as it was tasted alongside the mind blowing Henri Giraud Argonne but it did show a lot of Bordeaux Blanc characters. However, at this price point, so many other better option. Drink now. 91 (but 87 for qpr).

Citrus aroma and Lemongrass on the nose, yellow flowers Mildly creamy, with tanginess on the palate, zingy with minerality, quite precise; palate then mellows down and becomes more rich, peach like almost and a tad of sweetness.

Fine White Wine Tasting (Oinoscent): This needed the most time to open up in the glass. Med intensity, peach, grapefruit, lime and floral notes too. Quite high intensity in the palate, tight too. Tropical fruit, lime, lemon, great use of oak, subtly, med+ body and great structure, with long finish. A wine for the long road. Outstanding quality. It felt like a tiny sphere of flavor, acidity and power that never went away, just rested on the center of the tongue releasing layers of power as time went by. Tried again after 2 days and it have opened up in a magnificent way, while Ornellaia and Mouton had dissolved with only Smith Haut Lafitte trying to keep up.

From 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the wine reached 13.1% alcohol. The wine is produced from 40% of the harvest. Grapefruit, orange, honeysuckle and fresh citrus rind grab your attention, while the fresh and sweet lemon core refreshes as it lingers. 92 Pts

Surprisingly young! Pale colour. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Distinct varietal characters – fresh gooseberry, grapefruit, pear, lemongrass, stoney minerals, sweet vanilla, and toasty oak. With time it gains weights exhibiting creamy and very slightly honey grilled nuts. Charming.

Very smooth, almost buttery. Lemon notes. Excellent wine.
Subsequent tasting (7/20) -- more tart than I remember, less pleasing to drink.

2013 editon of En Primeur - Kelly and Kevin’s excellent adventure; 3/26/2014-4/1/2014 (Mostly in Bordeaux and a night in Paris): Cat fee, grass, lemon, citrus and flint. Good acidity and noticeable mineral presence. Very enjoyable in very clean and mineral way.
