Wednesday, January 27, 2016 - UGC 2016 (Chicago, IL): One of the best Pomerols yet. Blacker fruit, with a little bit of harshness in the tannins. This isn't too dense or potent, but has a pleasant freshness to it. Just a gentle touch of judiciously used oak here. Quite a light wine, but good nonetheless.
