Drank from my cellar. Typical Pomerol, quite acidic and lots of tannins in the beginning. After some air more fruit comes through. All in all a nice little wine, although a bit pricey for its value. Nice wine with food, steak and spicy asian food comes to mind. Decant for at least 1 hour to get a less agressive profile. I like this wine at lot. Drink now to 2030.

This one takes time. Need lots of patience. Upon uncorking, taste muted, little aroma and rough edges in the finish. Decanted for 30 mins and it slowly warmed up. Nice fruity and peppery nose, cassis, dates and berries in all rolled on one. Finish is medium with some bitterness at the end. Not on par with the 2009 or 2010 but still a good Pomerol to pair with food.

1st bottle from a 6 pack, paired with pork spare ribs and mashed potatoes this evening. This wine showed nicely maturing red and black fruits, with decent mid palate persistence but falling off slightly in the finish. Notes of black cherry, espresso grounds, anise, and mocha flavors are in the forefront. Medium acidity is present, while the tannins are rounding out quite well with 10 yrs bottle age. Not an overly complex wine, but certainly an enjoyable Right Banker. Drink through 2028+.

Need only 1 hour of decant and it will sing. Great nose. Medium body with a balance structure.
