Saturday, February 25, 2017 - Dinner at Mandu w/ the old crew: From magnum: This will age wonderfully for years. So young, but so awesome. It really opened up with air and warmth. So precise, clear and brisk, laced with minerals, but plenty of rich tropical fruits, honey, waxy, white pepper, ginger and floral tones. Complexity is absurd. I would love to bury a case of magnums at the bottom of a glacial lake for a quarter century - there's so damned much in here to unpack for a long, long time.
