5/16/2015 8:44:00 PM - I'm only a couple weeks ahead of you Chris, and this was my first failed opportunity to engage brain before hands. I certainly like that the Pungo lets me drink Muscadet with cod one evening then a red Burgundy with lamb burgers the next, without worrying that either will head south if I don't get back to the remaining half-bottles instantly. And it pours so much nicer than its rival. But was I really losing enough second halves of bottles to time & oxygen to justify the expense, and the hassle, of using a device like this? Eh, jury will be out for a while.

But I agree that drinking half a bottle --> fridge with cork --> drink the other half is a pretty good system. I'm definitely selling the Coravin, jury is out on Pungo.

I definitely was losing _some_ amount of wine after not getting back to it soon enough, and even the next day ain't always soon enough for some bottles, especially low/no sulfur uber-natural bottles IME. With others though, it's nice to see the evolution over a few days, and this very young Briords would've likely been one. Maybe I should argonize more selectively.

It was actually my first time using the Pungo. What do you think of yours?
