Monday, April 18, 2016 - This is a very fine example of Fiano. Clear, bright straw yellow in color. The nose is clean and complex, with pear, yellow peach, citrus (lemon and grapefruit), herbs and white flowers. The palate is dry, but with nice sweet fruit. The acidity is medium (+), alcohol is medium at 12% alcohol. The mouthfeel is smooth. There's a nice streak of minerality in the medium (+) long finish. It is drinking well now and likely to continue drinking well for several more years. A very solid value.
