Wednesday, February 2, 2022 - Deeper golden; bruised apple, apricot, waxy, almost banana, dried pineapple, loads of mineral, and then note of cat pee on the back; medium plus body, ripe fruit again with big mineral and strong acid but the finish disappears; given what seems to be botrytis lack of finish and overall focus says this was probably a wetter year; while there are many positives it feels a bit tired, something just isn't right about it.
