Thursday, March 21, 2013 - A relaxing evening with wines and friends (Metropolitan wine cellar, HK): Not sure if its bottle variation, but this bottle had a rather strong display of alcohol, which kinda dimished some of the good showing elements of the wine. First on the nose, typical yet wonderful notes of spring floral, ripe currants, violet, hint of mineral. Texture on the palate was soft and elegant, with coffee, truffle, jammy plum. Medium finish. This wine could still use some cellar time and should have a stronger showing then.
