Notes: this old La Landonne has an amazing nose of rose and spices, and the complexity on the palate demonstrates exactly what a good Cote Rotie should be like. A very seductive nose with deep and well structured aftertaste. Definitely not bad for a weak year, but comparing to another weak year such as 1984 I have to say I probably enjoyed the 1984 better. This wine I believe is currently a little past its peak drinking time window so I would suggest to drink it within the next 5 years.
