Thursday, December 15, 2016 - Tasted blind. Medium (+) ruby with some garnet. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity, with black plum, stewed red fruit, fresh herb, savory spice - and pleasant cinnamon, vanilla and other oak-induced spices. The palate is dry, but very fruit-forward, with medium or medium (+) acidity, medium tannins and medium (+) to high alcohol (14.2%). Drinking well now, with several years of aging potential. A very tasty wine wine at a great price at COSTCO ($18.00). Much less of a value at the winery price of $42.00?
