Friday, May 16, 2014 - This is a truly impressive wine. Spicy nose full of barnyard, olives, meat and dark fruit.

Had it not been for the very warm alcohol this would have gotten even a higher score. Full bodied, good fresh acidity. Round, but distinct tannins and a long, long, long finish. Drinks very well right now, feels very open and has some nice maturity. Wouldn't be afraid to cellar it for a few more years though. Let's see how long we can keep our fingers of the next bottle!
