93 Points

Sunday, January 22, 2017 - Salil in town (Chicago, IL): Nose: The nose was deep and expressive with stone fruits, red apples, cream tones, a bit of dough, pears, white florals, and vanilla beans. This had been opened for a day and was just singing when I got to it.

Taste: Full bodied with medium+ acidity. The acidity has some youthful bite to it with the feel showing a lot of depth and poise along with stone fruits, red apples, creams, dough notes, white florals, and some vanilla.

Overall: This is an outstanding Corton-Charlemagne. I had this on the second day and it was just gorgeous. While it is beautiful now, it does feel like there is room to grow over the next 5+ years.
