Tuesday, December 19, 2023 - * Wine 3 out of 6, YOLO wine club - 2010 Brunello tasting. Decanted for 3-hours.

Nose - leaning modern, with vanilla, cherry, cassis, and black pepper. Quite expressive.

On the pallet - medium bodied, dark fruit, solid structure, velvety tannins and decent finish, with a slight tartness.

Well balanced and pleasant, but a bit too modern and boring for my taste, and definitely the least exciting wine of the evening.

89 points on the night. Could benefit from 2-3 more years. Hold and drink from 2026 onwards.
