Wednesday, March 12, 2014 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #087; Burgundy: Vosne Romanée and Clos Vougeot. (By VD): Orange rim. A lot of minerals, toast and aromatic bouquet with also lemon grass. Same on the palate. Also earth, mushrooms, sweet spices, chocolate, coffee and caramel. A firm amount of acidity and some bitterness. Tasting the 2000 and 2004 blind beside each other, this 2004 was more developed.
