Sunday, August 26, 2012 - Fresher than the last bottle, without the nuttiness found in that first encounter. Smooth but still lively, with a hint of tarry oak along with an abundance of fruit. Nicely balanced acidity that continues to provide a lift to this wine, though it has a more secondary role than it might in a younger wine.
