Tuesday, September 8, 2015 - Pale straw. The nose on this wine shows sweet apples, hints of citrus and honey. In the mouth the fruit is quite ripe, so for me this is a semi-dry wine, probably 3.5% r.s. or so residual sugar, but with enough acidity to give it structure. A slightly effervescent impression on the finish, although the wine isn't fizzy. If you like semi-dry Riesling you'll like this much more than me.
