It has the ripe fruit but also its singnature acidity and structure of 05. VCC doesn’t go for late picking and extraction and it suited them well in this vintage, so you could approach this now if you are a curious cat. This is a stellar, classic Pomerol in the making. Prime window will not start before 2025 is my guess. Wonderful! 96-97
