Friday, December 26, 2003 - Initially on opening (and decanting) the nose and palate of this wine was quite muted. I was concerned that it was mildly corked. Now after nearly 4 hours open, the wine has opened. The nose is still soft with honeysuckle and talc. Soft balanced palate with just the right mix of sugar and acid. Amazingly pleasant to drink. My father, the avowed sweet wine hater, loved it. Tastes of candied lemons, honey, honeydew, and minerals. Nearly endless finish. Ready to drink now with some air.
