Friday, September 1, 2017 - This Chardonnay is made using a blend from 400 barrels and gets exported to 22 different markets around the world: that’s approximately 160,000 bottles of which 98% gets exported; and although seemingly “mass produced” it does not taste that way, in fact the subtle apple with butterscotch, pear and vanilla combining with the acidity and spicy notes on the finish elevate this wine to another level … and you won’t soon forget the creamy mouth-filling finish. Acidity in this wine is attributed to the higher acid Chardonnay clones used in its making.
