Wednesday, December 14, 2022 - Taste of Autumn at Helene Darroze (Helene Darroze): Disgorged March 2022. I'd normally swerve such a young Champagne, but this was recommended by the somm as drinking beautifully in an aperitif style, and it certainly delivered on that. Light on its feet, even ethereal, like drinking a soft lemony cloud, with plenty of refreshment, minerality and indeed excitement. Seriously good in its style.
