Monday, January 4, 2010 - Very dark inky, almost opaq. Tight and closed on day 1. On day 2 it revealed aromas of plums, roast meat, some earthiness and blackberries. Still quite tight though. Full-bodied with aggressive tanins, hidden fruit and quite high acidity. Definitely undergoing an awkward phase. Totally different compared to my previous tasting. Needs time. No score.
