92 Points

Wednesday, February 1, 2012 - On day 2, the wine is even more expressive and rounder. The nose displays dark berries, dark cherries, spices and liquorice with some meaty and tobacco scents and sweet oakiness. On the palate, it shows huge fruit concentration, and this becomes more obvious when compared to another wine, excellent tannins and a most wellcome (for a wine of high extract) acidic lift. Aftertaste is long. I intend to open my last bottle in 2-5 years, and I believe that it will have absorbed the oakiness and merrit an (even) higher score.
