Thursday, October 19, 2023 - Fathers' Gathering (Q by Peter Chang - Bethesda, Maryland): Beautiful nose displaying generous perfectly ripe pure yellow and white fruit, lemon curd, apple, a hint of pineapple, luxurious oak/vanilla, smoke, spearmint, sweet spices and limestone. Excellent concentration, very finely layered pure yellow and white fruit, beautiful balance and detail, elegant yet energetic, bright acidity, strong mineral, and a long pure yellow and white fruit driven finish with a hint of pine needles at the end. This is drinking incredibly well.
