Wednesday, November 22, 2023 - Consumed over 2 days, stored in Somm du Vin, note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, pale garnet with noticeable edge clouding and browning. Nose: Medium intensity, though more open on day 2 versus day 1, aromas of dried rose petal, cranberry, cedar, black olive, and herbs. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium tannins are soft and resolved, medium intensity, medium body, 13.0% abv with developed flavors of dried cherries, venison, and herbs with a medium+ finish.

Intensity: Very good
Complexity: Excellent

Overall, an excellent wine, particularly for a base Bourgogne level, nearing peak. Drink now or over next 2-3 years.
