Consumed over 2 days, stored in Somm du Vin, note from day 2. Appearance: Clear, pale garnet with noticeable edge clouding and browning. Nose: Medium intensity, though more open on day 2 versus day 1, aromas of dried rose petal, cranberry, cedar, black olive, and herbs. Palate: Dry, medium acid, medium tannins are soft and resolved, medium intensity, medium body, 13.0% abv with developed flavors of dried cherries, venison, and herbs with a medium+ finish.
Balance: Excellent Length: Excellent Intensity: Very good Complexity: Excellent
Overall, an excellent wine, particularly for a base Bourgogne level, nearing peak. Drink now or over next 2-3 years.

Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, intriguing aromas of cranberry, earth, dark flowers, and spice with saline and mineral notes - subtle, but quite interesting. Palate: Light to medium bodied - delicate, red fruit attack - cherry and cranberry up front, minerals and spice dominate the mid-palate through the back-end and linger through 30-45 second finish. This wine is easy drinking but has a sneaky depth of character, really nice.

A pretty four-square bourgogne. Nice nose with some floral notes without anything else distinctive. Palate is light bodied with nice red cherry and some leafy notes. Good back end acidity. Shortish finish.
