Sunday, July 23, 2023 - Upon opening at restaurant (Longboard Cafe in Ocean City) this was quite reductive and showed a lot of oak. After an hour this turned into a beauty. Minerals and stone fruit are very evident. An extremely full bodied and intense wine. It struggled to be a good food wine and only seemed to complement the duck dish one of us had (it overpowered the fish dishes) This would have benefited even more with decanting.
