Monday, December 17, 2018 - This rich and viscous Chardonnay is drinking well right now, with a compelling mixture of fresh citrus and creamy mouthfeel. Yellow in color and full in body, the wine offers aromas of golden delicious apple, saline, and vanilla bean. Tastes of pear, orange marmalade, almond, and butter, with a creamy and lifted finish. 15.1% alcohol. Drink now, if you like your fruit ripe and alive, since this is already starting to age a bit. This doesn't have the depth or complexity of the best Auberts (e.g., Lauren), but this is a lovely, if creamy, wine.
