Sunday, May 10, 2015 - Popped and slow oxed for 12 hours and drank with grilled steaks. Agree with Panos' note from one year ago. This wine is easily five years from the beginning of its prime window but is very promising. Densely fruited with notes of lead pencil. Noticeable but not bothersome tannin. Good concentration. Tons of upside and shows the highs the 2001 vintage is able to achieve. Well done.
