Thursday, July 27, 2023 - Chapoutier (Ivy Bottle Shop, Sydney): Blackberry, a little black pepper, crushed rock, black olives, a little tapenade. Sourly juicy, muted blackberry sprinkled with freshly crushed black pepper, a sense of density and breadth, tannins are drying, grippy, fruit travels long on this tannic vessel. Very nice.
