Thursday, February 6, 2014 - Bold, youthful and quite fruity. The color is medium rose/ruby. The nose is robust with coffee and cocoa notes layered on top of the deep Pinot fruits. There is a base of minerality but the wine certainly hints at new world aromatics. Full and rich palate is bursting at the seams yet covering a healthy dose of tannin. I will give this wine five to seven years to settle down. Could be very good with time. (90+)
