no notes so not rated, had in Bora Bora, this was simply simple and not up to Chevillon standard, not bad in any way (and would please a crowd of cocktail party drinkers but no extra spice / character at all, love RC but this wasn't his best (or could it be a dumb phase?)
Bold, youthful and quite fruity. The color is medium rose/ruby. The nose is robust with coffee and cocoa notes layered on top of the deep Pinot fruits. There is a base of minerality but the wine certainly hints at new world aromatics. Full and rich palate is bursting at the seams yet covering a healthy dose of tannin. I will give this wine five to seven years to settle down. Could be very good with time. (90+)
Expressive nose of sweet meats, smoke, mushroom and liqueur cherry. It has a spicy red heart, tasting a little of mulled wine (in a good way mind you). There’s plenty of flesh and a real savoury edge to the flavour profile. It is quite earthy on the finish.
