Wednesday, May 17, 2023 - We know what Roilette is capable of, which is why we cellar it. But as the drinking occasion approaches, we wonder what experience awaits us. In this case, the wine was less effusively fruity than Beaujolais can be, and instead showed an array of floral (poppies!) and sappy aromas in a mature context. Yes, very Fleurie, but also very Roilette. My only bottle of 2015, but if I had another, I'd open it in the next year or so.
