Wednesday, May 24, 2017 - MY first Shrader cab. The drinking window shows 2012 as full maturity and although I would agree that it's past it's prime, still very interesting. Popped and poured and wine seemed like it might be past it's prime but still quite good, Initially I thought boudeaux, elegant, mineral aspect, violet on the nose. Yes, violet, everyone agreed. We returned 4 hours later and the wine had improved, great fruit showing thru. Fun
