Friday, September 5, 2008 - Dinner at L'Unita (L'Unita, Toronto, Canada): Medium-garnet colour. Aromas of roses, violets/potpourri, sandalwood, orange rind. Medium-full bodied, with truffles, orange rind, and dried dark fruit. Moderate-long finish, ~35-40s, with dark fruit and tar. Needs 3-5 years to hit its peak, but this is fantastic stuff. Drink 2010-2020.
