Saturday, April 20, 2024 - From a MGA vineyard near Neive. Decanted. Med ruby, w/ a garnet hue. Clean, med+ ripe red cherries, dried red roses, tobacco and just a touch of neutral oak. Dry, w/ plenty of fruit left. Med to med+ acidity, med, resolved tannins & high alcohol (14%). Med+ flavor intensity & length. It is drinking really well now, w/ several years of development left. It is not a standout wine, but is drinking much better than expected given some of the prior reviews.
