Sunday, May 20, 2012 - While many on the WL Forum have been popping their '05's and '06's, I've been holding off till now on the '04 and I'm glad I did. Aromas of leather, smoke, blackberries and oak explode from the glass. The full bodied wine coats your palate with gobs of fresh sweet blackberries covered with dark bittersweet chocolate. The tannins have integrated beautifully with just the right amount of grip to balance the fruit. It's such a delicious wine I even had a glass after dinner. Outstanding.
