Thursday, August 17, 2023 - WSET 2 group tasting (My place, Utrecht, NL): According to the Wine Advocate Vintage overview 1993 is the only vintage of the last 40 years to be considered “appalling”. For such a weak vintage, it is impressive what is still standing after 30 years. Medium intensity with smoke, bacon, some black fruit left, pipe tabacco, a green note, iodine. Medium+ acidity, medium+ finish
