Monday, December 25, 2017 - A fine, pure expression of 100% Chardonnay from Toscana. Clear, medium yellow. The nose is clean, youthful, intense, with aromas of ripe lemon, tart yellow apple, barely ripe pineapple, cantaloupe, Mediterranean herbs and saffron. Just a delicate hint of French oak spice. The palate is dry, with medium to medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol. Medium-bodied, with medium intensity and length. Nice, clean, minerally finish. A really fine expression of what Central Italian Chardonnay can be.
