Monday, February 15, 2021 - Great showing once again; truffle, minty spice, game/blood, sous bois firewood mixed with aging red cherry fruit; cherries aged in brandy. A bit of onion jam with whiffs of manure come out with air time. Great personality with this wine seen in almost every vintage, young or old. Serious stuff. Noble earthiness in the best possible way, as this wine has poise and refinement as well.
