Wednesday, August 30, 2017 - Cape Mentelle Masterclass (Winesquare, Pyrmont Bridge Road): Polished, cream, black berry over plums and a slightly briny, savoury notes. Kind of hits a middle ground between South Australia and the Hunter. Slightly peppery spice, juicy. The fruit is a little more muted here and more plummy but still quite broad on the palate. Quite soft tannins and a little warm spice on the finish. Meh
