Saturday, December 10, 2022 - Wanted to try one of these younger; it took over an hour to really open; initially the nose was pretty closed and the tannins kept the palate pretty tight. However it got better and better over the course of the evening eventually showing ripe red berry fruits, some fennel and other spices, mineral notes, The palate improved and began to show pretty solid depth. Definitely needs more time and will be better in 5+ years.
