Tuesday, December 20, 2022 - Nearly three hour decant. Deep dark ruby core, with slight amber rim fade. Blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, candle wax, walnut, basque (almond) cake, and fresh sliced pear on the complex nose. Smooth, dry palate, with velvety, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.

This is seamlessly integrated and certainly drinking at its peak for my palate. It’s likely been at this peak for three years and those with my palate probably shouldn’t wait much longer. Tertiary town is right around the corner. ;)
