Two hour decant. Deep dark ruby magenta, with the slightest, thinnest bit of rim fade. Blackberry, ripe plum, suede, chocolate malt, walnut, and subtle caramel. Smooth, dry, voluptuous palate, with satiny acidity. Firm, lower intensity tannins on the long finish.
This is perfectly integrated and still drinking at its peak. Consistently good over an hour of drinking.
Nearly three hour decant. Deep dark ruby core, with slight amber rim fade. Blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, candle wax, walnut, basque (almond) cake, and fresh sliced pear on the complex nose. Smooth, dry palate, with velvety, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.
This is seamlessly integrated and certainly drinking at its peak for my palate. It’s likely been at this peak for three years and those with my palate probably shouldn’t wait much longer. Tertiary town is right around the corner. ;)

Two hour decant. Very very deep magenta color. Black currant, wild strawberry, clove, anise, and subtle mushroom on the nose. Super smooth, dry palate, with fine, tongue coating acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
This has aged very well. It continued to improve over an hour of tasting.
Fantastic bottle. Well balanced, full mouth feel. Dark fruits, smooth tannins and 30-40 second finish. Hints of cocoa, pencil lead and light floral notes

Very good but perhaps still not to peak. 3 hour decant and still it needed more.
