Sunday, October 17, 2021 - Prior bottle was 7 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. Slightly prettier nose than previously with red berries, red cherry and forest floor notes. Medium bodied with rounded and expressive red cherry upfront. Mid-body adds some darker red cherry, some high toned red berries and some background red raspberry notes. Backside shows tart red cherry and cranberry along with tannins, balanced acidity and the light spice notes. Felt like all the elements were in a slightly better balance than in my prior bottle, even if the flavor profile only shifted slightly. I would drink these over the next 2 years because while it will last after that time, based on these notes, I think that's where it will show it's best.
